I just purchased your 12 gauge Model V-12 in camouflage pattern

I just purchased your 12 gauge Model V-12 in camouflage pattern...I love it! I fired some steel mixed #BB/1, 3 inch shells through it pattern testing it for geese shooting this season. It performed flawlessly. My only complaint is the pad is hard. Can I shoot 2 &3/4 inch shot shells through it in 1 &1/8 oz for upland game birds? If so, at what velocity (FPS) will work for proper ejection do you recommend? Thanks again for making a great product!
